This piece really spoke to me. Even though I’m not Autistic and neurotypical, I’m a disabled woman, and a lot what you wrote really hit home the experience of being a high functioning person with a disability. I’m in college and independent, and I run into things like this a lot. It’s really cool to hear someone with another kind of disability write about a life that’s so different than mine, but also the same an unifying in a beautiful way. Thank you for sharing.
